Marilyn Dixson has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years. During this time, she’s provided quality care services for countless families as the owner of MDS In-Home Services and  through her work and partnerships with hospitals and home health agencies within the Greater St. Louis area. Prior to working as the current owner of MDS In-Home Services, she worked as a Psychiatric LPN nurse, RN Nurse, and Home Health worker.

Marilyn’s mission is to provide families access to affordable, customized, in-home healthcare solutions that allow families the peace of mind of quality, patient-focused care and reliable support for the family’s day-to-day needs.  

Marilyn believes that families are empowered through awareness and education. The knowledge of healthcare solutions, procedures, and options is the key to making the best decisions for any family. Marilyn strives to continue her mission of empowerment through education via her Daily Prescription with Nurse Dixson blog, website, videos, and community involvement.  

MDS In-Home Services provides personal care services including bathing, meal preparation, laundry, making beds, shopping, mobility assistance, dressing/grooming, and many others. In addition, our dedicated team provides authorized nurse visits, including setting-up medications, checking vital signs, and carrying out any specific doctors orders.
